   This weeks review is on another company I found on Instagram called "Curls & Potions." Curls & Potions is a cruelty free natural hair care line that offers a selection of products to suit your hair care needs. I received their "Babassu Silk Creme" deep protein treatment, "Shelly Belly Curling Jelly" curl an coil defining cream and "Sweet Babassu" sealing oil. I took my time reviewing these products and have used them a total of three wash days so far. So let's get started with my review.

   So I am going to start with "Curls & Potions" Babassu Silk Creme Deep Protein Treatment & Heat Protectant. Okay so I'm just going to say "I Love This!" this is a rich and creamy protein treatment and had fresh a minty scent. It made my hair so soft when applying as well as after rinsing. My hair felt stronger as well. I used it a couple different ways by sitting under a hooded dryer or just leaving a plastic cap on my head while I did work around the house. The outcome was always the same, super soft moisturized hair. It can also be used as a heat styling smoothing treatment by adding a little to damp hair and blow drying, flat ironing or curling. I won't be straightening my hair though I'll wait for my 1 year natural mark. This product also helps strengthen damaged hair. Some of the key ingredients listed are; Babassu Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Shitaki Extract, Soybean Oil and Cavier extract. I received their 8 oz jar which costs $16.99. I say this a lot, but sometimes it is worth it to pay more for great products and this is one of them.

   Next up is Curls & Potions "Shelly Belly Curling Jelly" curl defining cream. And I'll have to say that I Love this product as well. I have been in a total funk lately with my hair and have been having to mix and cocktail products. I only needed hair oil and this to style now. I can't describe the scent but it's a sweet and fragrant one. After washing my hair I use a Leave-In then rub melted cocconut oil through my hair. Next I use the Shelly Belly Curling Jelly and a sealing oil then make finger coils in my hair and let it air dry. I am left with soft, shiny defined curls. Some of the key ingredients listed are; Aloe Juice, Honey, Amla Extract, Shea Butter, Hemp Seed Butter and Soy Bean Oil. I received their 8 oz jar which costs $15.99. This is another product well worth it's price.

   And last but not least is Curls & Potions "Sweet Babassu Sealing Oil." I like this oil for a sealent after applying the "Shelly Belly Curling Jelly," I applied the sealing oil and made finger coils in my hair. My hair was shiny and moisturized. The Sweet Babassu Oil helped hold in the moisture to keep my hair looking fresh all week. I also applied more daily after using a Leave-In conditioning spray. This is a great Oil for using the L.O.C method and can be used as a hot oil treatment. Some key ingredients listed are; Sweet Almond Oil, Babassu Seed Oil, Maracuja Oil and Peppermint Oil. I think this is a really good multi purpose oil. I received their 4 oz bottle for $12.99.

   Over all, I really enjoyed reviewing "Curls & Potions" products. I think they all did what they claimed to do and compliment each other well. I definitely recomend you give these products a try. Nunaat Beauty

   Today's review is on Nunaat Beauty's Naatcream Instant Hydaration Deep Conditioner in "Goat Milk and Brazil Nut." I was sent their 35.2 oz jar which provides 50+ applications for $10.49. This conditioner claims to give instant hair hydration with results in 3 minutes of applying. I am always looking for a good conditioner that adds moisture to my hair. This conditioner was Amazing!! My hair never felt so soft, hydrated and moisturized. After washing my hair I applied the conditioner to my hair and sat under my hooded dryer for a good 20 minutes. It has a thick creamy consistency with a nice clean scent. This conditioner is ideal for thick or coarse hair. The product reads; formulated to replenish lifeless hair with deep moisture, leaving it silky soft while reducing volume. It's great for detangling. It is also Sulfate and Sodium Chloride free. The first ingredient listed is water which is always a great sign.

   Over all I liked this deep conditioner it was just what my hair needed. If you suffer from dry dammaged hair I would definitely give Naatcream Instant Hair Hydration a try. SereNiti Bath Body And You

Hi! This weeks review is going to be on some wonderful Bath and Body Products by "SereNiti Bath Body And You." I have been testing out these products for a little over two weeks and I am ready to give my review.

   The first product I am going to start with is SereNiti's "Lime Sorbet Body Scrub." I really like the scent it smells like sweet lime's. Makes me think of a tropical frozen treat. The scrub itself worked really well at exfoliating my skin. I also Loved how it left my skin moisturized after rinsing it off. My legs and feet were smooth, shiny and moisturized. The ingredients listed are; Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Apricot Oil, Carrot Extract, Stearic Acid, Glycerin and Argan Oil to name a few. I received the Lime Sorbet Body Scrub in a sample size but you can get a 8 oz jar for $8.99.
I totally recomend this scrub because it not only exfoliates your skin but leaves it soft and moisturized as well.

   Next is SereNiti's "Berry Bliss Body & Hair Icing w/Argan Oil."The scent on the Hair and Body Icing reminds me of Blueberries. I really like the scent. I like that this is a dual purpose product. It did a really great job moisturizing my skin. I have really dry skin mostly because my job requires me to wash my hands often. The Icing kept my hands moisturized for a good while. It was a bit oily which others may not care for but I really needed it for my skin. I also used it on my hair for styling. After washing my hair, I used a Leave-In, cocktail of oils and the icing and put my hair in finger coils. It gave my hair so much moisture and softness. I Love this product for both my skin and my hair. I received this in the 2 oz sample size and sadly couldn't find the ingredients on the website. But you can get the 4 oz jar for $12.00. I definitely recomend this if you have super dry skin like mine.

   And lastly is SereNiti's "Juicy Melon Cream Whip Bath Soap." This was a really interesting soap. I Loved the Melon scent. And it had a foamy/whipped consistency. I used this with my shower poof and it gave a really good suds. It left my skin super clean, soft and smelling fresh. I also couldn't find this product on the website so I really cant give you pricing or details about it. I really liked it though so I'll leave the website info below.

Overall I liked the products I reviewed by SereNiti Bath Body and You but I wish I could of found more info and prices on some of the products. Queen's Temple Handmade Artisan Soaps Part #2

   Hi everyone! So as promised I am back with part #2 of of the products I reviewed from my previous entry. This part will focus on Queen's Temple hair products. I wanted to do it in two seperate posts because I didn't want the first review to be so long. But I also sometimes like to use products a couple of times before I review to give my true honest opinion. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries or uses for me to determine wether it's a good product or not. So lets begin.

   So first I am going to start with Queen's Temple "No More Itch Antibacterial, Antimicrobial, Antifungal Dandruff Shampoo. Now to be honest I have not had any itch or dandruff since becoming natural. When I used to relax my hair I always had bad dandruff and my hair itched bad. So I really can't speak on those aspects of the product. My daughter on the other hand is always scratching at her head but doesn't have dandruff. I wish I thought of it sooner but I just washed her hair tonight with this shampoo to see if it helps her. I will update this post at the top on Friday to let you know how it went. Anyway, I really liked the scent it had a kind of a peppermint smell to me which I liked. It gave a pretty good lather and left my hair squeaky clean. I do have to say it was a bit drying though. I like for my Shampoo's to leave my hair soft and moisturized. This shampoo is Alcohol, Paraben and Sulfate free. The Ingredients listed are Indian Lilac Powder, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Coconut Oil, Bergamot e/o, Lavendor e/o and Fragrance blend. The No More itch Shampoo comes in a 8 oz bottle but unfortunately It's not listed on her Etsy so I can't tell you the price. Overall I think it's a good Shampoo for when I would do my once monthly Shampoo (I co-wash mostly). But I can't speak on the itch and dandruff yet because I don't have that problem. I will update you with my daughter's progress though.

   Up next is Queen's Temple "Intense Honey-Banana- Coconut Milk Deep Conditioning Treatment." That was a mouthful! LOL! So I really Love the scent of this deep conditioner and couldn't wait to try it out. Smells like a sweet banana dessert. I expected it to be a thick rich conditioner but it was thin. It applied nicely and I sat under the dryer with a plastic cap for about a half hour. I really had high hopes for it but it really didn't leave my hair moisturized at all. It was kinda dry. I think that had it been a thicker conditioner it may have done the trick. The conditioner is Alcohol and Sulfate free. The ingredients listed are Coconut Milk, Banana, Shea Butter, Raw Honey, Jojoba Oil Argan Oil, Clove e/o, Rosemary, Black Seed Oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil. This one also comes in an 8 oz bottle but I can't find the price. Overall I think if this came in a thick cream it may be a really good deep conditioner.

   And lastly is Queen's Temple Moisturizing Scalp and Growth Honey. I really really like this product. It comes as a thick cream or butter and melts from the warmth of your hand to massage into your scalp. It is very moisturizing to the scalp. It smells like honey and herbs. I have been using it for the last two weeks for my scalp massages. This product is Alcohol free. The Ingredients listed are Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Bergamot e/o, Lavender e/o, Rosemary e/o, Tea Tree e/o, Sage e/o,  Sweet Almond Oil,  Grapeseed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, and Fragrance blend. The price listed is $15 for 8oz. As I said I really like this Moisturizing Scalp Oil. The smell is nice and it's not overly greasy. I'm hoping I will see some nice growth with long time use of it.

Queen's Temple Handmade Artisan Soaps Part #1

   Hi! Sorry it's been a while, between work and my kids constantly getting sick I have been M.I.A. But luckily we are on Spring break so I can get caught up on some reviews.

   So this week I will be telling you about some bath, body and hair products I have been reviewing. About two weeks ago I received a nice assortment of products from Queen's Temple Handmade Artisan Soaps. As you can see I was sent a lot of products to review so I will be just reviewing the body products and will follow up with the hair procucts at a later time. So let's get started.

   So first I wanted to start with Queen's Temple Organic 100% Pure Castille Soap Body Wash "Fresh Clean Scent." I liked the scent of this but I couldn't help but think of  it as laundry detergent. It just had that smell of fresh laundry to me for some reason. It's not a bad smell just not a scent I would expect for a body wash. The body wash is not thick like other body washes either, it has a bit of a looser texture. But that's not a bad thing either. On the bottle it says it is a rich lather wash, but I would say it gives a good lather but not really rich. It kind of reminds me of a sulfate free Shampoo. It gave just enough lather to not dry out your skin. The ingredients listed for the wash are; water, pottasium oleate, potassium cocoate, glycerin, potassium citrate, potassium palm and kernal acid. It is also sulfate free, paraben free and not tested on animals. This product comes in a 8 oz bottle but unfortunately I couldn't find the price. I liked that the Castille Soap Body Wash left me smelling fresh and clean with soft skin. But I don't think it is something I would use much because it reminds me of laundry detergent. But this body wash can be made without the scent.

   Next up is Queen's Temple "Honey Butter Cream" face and body bar. I have to say I Love this product. First the smell is so sweet my whole bathroom smells like sweet honey. You'll have no need for a air freshener at all. I have used this soap for both my face and body. As a face bar it left my face soft and did not dry my face out at all. As a body bar I felt the exact same way. It gives a pretty good lather and leaves you smelling like Honey. The ingredients in the Honey Butter Bar are coconut oil, palm oil, safflower oil, kosher glycerin, goat's milk, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, soy bean protein and titanium dioxide. And contains ground oatmeal, raw shea butter, raw honey and a propriety blend of fragrance oils. So if you haven't figured it out yet I really Love this face and body bar. I use it everyday on my face. The Honey Butter Cream bar comes in a 4.5 oz bar for $6.00 each or 4 for $20. I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

   Next is Queen's Temple Shea & Oatmeal bar. This bar can be used for body, face and shaving. For shaving it can be used for both men and women. I figured since I was getting a little prickly I would soak in a nice warm bath and try this bar out. It gave a nice protective lather perfect for shaving. Didn't leave me with razer burn but left me with soft silky legs. I Love the scent of this bar as well. They all have a sweet creamy honey fragrance. I think this bar would work great to give a nice close shave for men as well. The ingredients listed for the Shea and Oatmeal bar are coconut oil, palm oil, safflower, kosher glycerin, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, soy bean protein and titanium dioxide. It also contains raw shea butter, raw honey and proprietary blend of fragrance oils. This bar comes in a 4.5 oz bar for $6.00. So if you love multi-use products like me the Shea & Oatmeal bar is a winner.

   Next is Queen's Temple Skin Soothing Loofa and Oatmeal Sugar Scrub. Another lovely sweet smelling product. Sorry about the picture, some of the label washed off while using. Anyway I liked this sugar scrub a lot. It helped get rid of a lot of dead skin on my legs and feet. My skin was super soft and super moisturized. Besides the ground up Loofa, Oatmeal and Sugar it contains an assortment of moisturizing oils. My skin was so soft and moisturized after using this I did not need to use lotion at all. The indredients listed in the scrub are; pure cane sugar, coconut oil, essential oils, loofa scrub, ground oatmeal, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, apricot kernal oil and sweet almond oil. This sugar scrub comes in a nice sized 16 oz jar for $15. I think the loofa scrub was a great added touch, it really helped to get rid of a lot of dead skin. Great for getting your legs and feet Spring and Summer ready.

  Now lastly are Queen's Temple "Turmeric and Bentonite Clay Clarifying Mask" on the left and "Blemish and Blackhead Scrub" on the right. I'll start with the Tumeric and Bentonite Mask. I thought the Tumeric in this mask would be pretty interesting. What I liked about it is that it went on smooth and didn't take long to dry. It also didn't give me the itchy skin crawling uncomfortable feeling other masks give. It also had a spicy scent I'm assumimg from the Tumeric. It did leave my face looking bright and clear but other than that I didn't really notice anything. I always feel that way with facial masks though. They are fun to do but I never notice any real dramatic difference in my appearance. The ingredients listed are aloe vera gel, bentonite clay, tumeric powder, raw honey and tea tree oil. I do love that all the ingredients are natural and have amazing cleansing properties that are great for the skin. Overall I think it is a good mask that's good for your skin. The mask comes in a 8 oz  jar for $15.
   Next is Queen's Temple "Blemish and Blackhead Scrub Honey-Lemon-Sea Salt." I liked how well this scrub exfoliated my face. I don't have blackheads on my face but I do have noticeable clogged pores. I think it helped get the gunk out really well. This scrub has a lemon honey fragrance which I love. So the only thing I really wish was different about this scrub is I think it should be made with sugar instead of salt. I can imagine maybe not doing a thorough job rinsing and accidentally getting a little salt in the eye. Ouch! I'm also just used to alot of face scrubs made with sugar. Other than that though I like it. The ingredients listed for this scrub are; fine grain sea salt, organic fresh squeezed lemon juice, organic raw honey, tea tree essential oil and poppyseeds. This scrub is good for blemishes, blackheads and oily skin etc.
This face scrub comes in a 8 oz jar for $12.

   So this concludes part #1 of my review on Queen's Temple Handmade Artisan Soaps. I will try my best to have #2 with the rest products reviewed shortly. Overall I think Queen's Temple has some pretty good products. I Love how fragrant everything is my bathroom smells amazing. Creme Of Nature Argan Oil Collection

*Update February 25th:
So I went ahead and gave Pudding Perfection and the Butterlicious Curls a second try with a mid-week wash day. My feelings are the same. My curls are great but my hair is dry and not moisturized. I even used extra oil in my hair to maybe help seal in the moisture. Nothing really helped. So for my hair these two products did not work. Let me know your results if you decide to try them.
 
   Hi everyone! This weeks product review is on Creme Of Nature's Natural Argan Oil line. I actually won these products from a giveaway held on Creme Of Nature's Facebook page a while ago. I really wanted to try these products out for a long time
1. Because I love the smell of their Argan products and 2. Because I have heard good things about them. This is only a fraction of the products I received but decided to just use these particular products for my washday. So let's go ahead and get started.

   So the first product I started with was Creme Of Nature's Pure-Licious CO-Wash. As I mentioned before I am so in Love with the scent of these products. It's such a fresh Beautiful scent (that's the only way I can describe it). The Co-Wash was nice, thick and creamy. It provided a very nice slip and coated my hair nice and evenly. I was able to detangle my hair very easily. After rinsing my hair that lovely scent still lingered and my hair was really soft. I'm not going to talk price with these products because they are fairly priced. You can pretty much find them in a variety of stores and pricing by store may vary. But you do get 12 oz of product which is pretty good. This Co-Wash is also Sulfate free and safe for color treated hair. The first listed ingredient is water, which is something you should always look for in natural hair products. I definitely recomend this
co-wash for your gotta try list.

   Up next is Creme of Nature's Intensive Conditioning Treatment. This one has the same great scent and consistency as the
co-wash. The Conditioning Treatment helps strengthen, impart moisture and prevents hair breakage. I spread the conditioning treatment evenly throughout my hair put on a plastic cap and sat under my hooded dryer for 15 minutes. After rinsing out with cool water my hair was noticeably soft. I feel like there wasn't anything really special about this product but it did work good. The Conditioning Treatment comes in a 12 oz bottle as well. As with the co-wash the first ingredient listed is water. This one doesn't say if it is paraben or sulfate free so I'll have to check into that. Overall it is a okay Conditioner.

   Next is Creme of Nature's Argan Buttermilk Leave-In Hair Milk. To start it has the same great scent as the others. I was surprised by the thickness of this hair milk because usually milks are a bit thinner. But I like this one because of it's thickness. Other hair milks I tried from different brands were always so thin or just didn't do anything for my hair. I love how it kept my hair soft and started bringing out my curls. The first ingredient listed is water and there are no Sulfates, Parabens, Mineral Oil or Petrolatum. This can be used as a daily moisturizer as well. The Buttermilk Leave-In comes in a 8 oz bottle. Another one you should add to your gotta buy list.

   The last two products I'm going to talk about are Creme of Nature's "Butter-Licious Curls" curl hydrating creme and "Pudding Perfection" curl enhancing creme. I decided to do them at the same time because I feel the exact same about both of them. They both have that wonderful scent I Love. The Curl Hydrating Creme is a bit thicker than the Curl Enhancing Creme. First I applied my oils of choice using the L.O.C method. I then used the Hydrating Creme first raking it through my wet hair section by section from root to tip. Then next did the same with the Enhancing Creme.
   So first I'm going to tell you what I like about them. They both went in my hair nice and evenly, defined my curls and left my curls soft and defined. But what I didn't like is they did not leave my hair looking or feeling moisturized. My hair was soft but dry, no shine to it at all. I had to keep spraying my hair with oils and rubbing oil through my hair to make it look like it had some kind of moisture and shine. Not sure if it was something I did or not, but not a big fan of these two products yet.
   Next week I may try again and instead do the L.C.O method. It may just be that these two don't work for my hair. But they may possibly work for someone elses. I do love that they gave me nice soft curls but not happy with dry hair. The Pudding Perfection creme comes in a 11.5 oz jar and the Butter-Licious Curls comes in a 7.5 oz jar. Both are free of Parabens, Sulfates, Mineral Oil and Petrolatum. I'm not going to say not to try these, they just didn't work out that great for me.
   Overall I really enjoyed reviewing Creme Of Nature's Natural Argan Oil Line. I think the cleansing and conditioning products were good I just wish I felt the same about curl products. Lotus By Alesia

   Hi Everyone! Yes I'm back so soon because I couldn't wait to do my next product review. I had the pleasure of trying out and reviewing some products for my wash-day by Lotus By Alesia. I was sent the Hydrating Mango & Hemp Shampoo, Hydrating Mango & Hemp Conditioner, Hydrating Mango & Hemp Deep Moisture Masque and Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner. I was really curious about the Hemp added in the products and couldn't wait to see how it would work in my hair.  So let's get started with my review.

   So I usually only Shampoo my hair once a month and cowash the rest. I had actually just Shamppooed my hair the week before but I couldn't resist giving Lotus's Hydrating Mango & Hemp Shampoo a try. Because this shampoo is free of sulfates it was a thin low suds cleanser. I'm not sure if the scent of it was from the hemp but I surprisingly liked the smell of it. I really can't describe it to you though. All I can say though is that it was a pleasant clean scent. I really liked how clean my hair felt during and after washing. It worked easily through my hair and did not leave my hair hard like most shampoos. It also has a applicator top to make it easy to cleanse your hair while in a protective style.
    The key ingredients are; Distilled Water infused with Nettle Leaves, Rosemary Leaf, Lavender Flower, Organic Castille Soap, Mango Butter, Hemp Seed Oil and Tea Tree oil. Overall I think this is a great Shampoo for naturals. It gets rid of product buildup without stripping your hair od it's natural oils and leaves your hair fresh, clean and soft. For this product you get 12 oz of shampoo for $17.99. I have said this before on other reviews, but sometimes the price is ok if the product does everything it should and then some. And this is that kind of product.

   The next product I used is the Hydrating Mango & Hemp Conditioner. This one had the same exact scent as the Shampoo. It was rich and creamy and gave really good slip. You can use this as a conditioner after shampooing or as a cowash. I liked the fact that this conditioner left my hair super soft and hydrated. The key ingredients in the conditioner are pretty much the same as the shampoo but also includes Carrot Seed Oil. For this product you get 12 oz of conditioner for $17.99. As stated above if the product is great it's worth it.

    Next up is Lotus's Hydrating Mango & Hemp Deep Moisture Masque. The Masque had the same scent as the Shampoo and conditioner from the Mango and Hemp line. The masque was thick yet creamy and easily spread on my hair. I then added a plastic cap and sat under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes or so. As with the conditioner It gave me really moisturized soft hair. I read that this masque can also double as a styler by adding it to just washed damp hair. So I will be sure to try that out on my next wash day. Some of ingredients listed for this product are; Distilled Water infused with Nettle Leaves, Rosemary Leaf, Lavender Flower, Mango Butter, Hemp Seed Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Tea Tree Oil and Vitamin B5. The masque comes in a 8 oz container for $16.99. I wish it came with a little more product but if you use this sparingly it can last a little while.
                  

    And last but not least is Lotus's Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner. Now this Leave-In right here had my hair feeling like Butter! I was so amazed by how soft this made my hair feel. The scent was amazing as well. It reminded me of vanilla frosting. But seriously this is a good Leave-In. This conditioner can be used daily to add moisture to dry hair. I added a little bit of this to some water in my spray bottle so I can use it daily. Some of the key ingredients include; Distilled Water, Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Rosemary Leaf Extract. The Moisturizing Leave-In comes in a 12 oz bottle for $17.99 and definitely worth every penny.

   Overall I think Lotus By Alesia has a really good product lineup. I enjoyed everything I used and can't wait to use the products in different ways on my next washday. A Perfect 10

   Hi everyone! Sorry I have been gone for a while. I have had a really busy last couple of weeks. It started with my youngest son's 3rd Birthday, then my 33rd Birthday and next my oldest son's 12th Birthday. And somewhere in between all of that I had a migraine that lasted almost two weeks that I could not get rid of. But I'm back and feeling better. So lets get started with this weeks review.

   I received some natural hair products from a hair care company I found through Instagram called "A Perfect 10." I have had these for about 3 weeks and used these for my last 2 wash days. What I was sent was their "Watch My Length" Growth Oil and their "Love Me Deeply" Moisturizing Deep Conditioner. 

   So I'll start with the "Watch My Length" oil. This oil is a blend of 10 essential oils that help promote healthy hair growth. It can be used as a sealing oil using the L.O.C method. It's also light enough to be used daily. The oils included are Castor, Jojoba, Olive, Avocado, Grapeseed, Coconut, Almond, Lavender, Tea Tree and Vitamin E Oil. Basically all the best oils to promote healthy hair and growth in one bottle. I have to say I really Love this oil #1 because of the mixture of all these oils and #2 because it can be used so many different ways. I have used this oil as a pre-poo before starting my wash day, as a scalp massage oil to help promote hair growth, a hot oil treatment and as a daily moisture sealent. I have basically been using only this for two weeks. It also doesn't have a fragrance to it if you are sensitive to smells. For this product you get 8 fl oz for $10. Since you get a mixture of a variety of oils I would say that it is a great price for the amount of product. 

   Next is A Perfect 10's "Love Me Deeply" Moisturizing Deep Conditioner. The description reads; "A rich and creamy deep penetrating conditioner that provides intense moisture, leaving your hair feeling soft and ready for any style." It is also infused with vitamin B7 to promote healthy hair growth. Some other ingredients listed are; Deionized Water, Aloe Vera Juice, AP10 Blend, Castir Oil, Vitamin B7, Persea Gratissima Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Optiphan and Fragrance. This product is also Paraben, Sulfate, Silicon, Alcohol, Mineral Oil and Petroleum free. To me this doesn't have a fragrance but that could be a good thing for those that are sensitive to smells. This Deep Conditioner is Amazing!!! It's thick and creamy and added such wonderful softness to my hair. I always sit under my hooded dryer for about a half hour or more while deep conditioning. I was so happy with how moisturized my hair looked and felt. This is definitely a "Perfect 10" product. For the Love Me Deeply deep conditioner you get 16 oz for $15 which I would also say is a pretty good price especially with my results.

5 Month's Natural/Hair Growth Products

   Hi Everyone! I can't believe I have been natural for almost half a year. Yes, I did Big Chop October 3, 2015 but I have been growing my hair natural since August 2015. As I had mentioned previously I wanted to grow my hair back out from rocking a undercut style for over a year. So the last time I shaved the sides and back  of my hair was the end of July. I then waited until my sides were as long as my new growth on top and "Big Chopped" the top. So since August until now I have about 2 1/4 inches of growth!!! I'm pretty happy with that because my hair grows slow. I'm hoping to see at least 5 inches by my one year mark. But to be honest I really just want to have healthy hair.

   In October I started using products to help my hair growth process and one of them were Hair, Skin and Nail Vitamins. The first brand I tried was Natures Bounty 90 count gummies. I really liked them they had a good Strawberry taste and they lasted me 45 day's. I can't say I noticed rapid hair growth because I was still newly natural, but I did notice my nails grew long and strong fast. After I was done with those, I wanted to try a different Brand. I went with Spring Valley Hair, Skin & Nail pills 120 count. With this particular brand the serving size is 3 pills a day which seems like a lot. Some day's I took 3 other's I took 2. If taken as directed this brand would last you about 40 days. I have had more hair growth than I expexted at this time so I beleive these vitamins are good and actually work. I have also seen lots of growth and strength in my nails. Not so much difference in my skin though. I'm almost done with these vitamins and would Love to try something different. What vitamins do you reccomend? Please let me know in the comments below.

   Along with vitamins I have also been using various hair growth oils. The first one I use is the Jamaican Black Castor Oil in Coconut. I have read great things about it's hair regrowing abilities so I wanted to give it a try. One thing I love about it is the smell. I heard the regular Jamaican Castor Oils don't smell so good so I made sure to get a scented one. The second thing I like is it really makes my hair soft. The next growth oil I use is Alikay Naturals Essential 17 Hair growth oil. This one has a mixture of 17 ingredients for healthy scalp and hair growth. I like the smell of this one as well it smells like peppermint. You can check out my previous review on Alikay Natural products a few entry's back. And last but not least is Yani Care's Everyday Spray Serum. It helps promote healthy scalp and hair. It is made up of a nice assortment of essential oils and distilled water. It has a very nice fragrance as well.  I have only been using it for 2 weeks but I honetly Love it. It is not too greasy and my hair is so soft after using it. I'll have to give you an update on it after I use it a little longer.
   I always mix my growth oils (hoping for a little extra growth) LOL! I first spray my Yani Care on first. Next a couple drops of Jamaican Castor Oil and a couple of the Essential 17 growth oil. Then I use my fingertips and gently massage my scalp for about 15-20 mins 3 days a week. Massaging the scalp helps with the circulation of your scalp allowing blood to flow and hair to grow.

   And lastly, I always knew my hair took a long time to absorb product so I decided to do the water porosity test. Basically you take a clean strand of hair and place it in room temperature water. If it floats you have low porosity hair. If it sinks you have high porosity hair. So I placed two stands in (hope you can see them) and kept checking on them. They never sunk and stayed on top. So I have what I thought, low porosity. I really need to find some products that work for my hair. I hope to try the new line by Shea Moisture for Low porosity hair. I would really Love to review it.

DIY Honey Face Wash/Scrub

   This week I wanted to do a little DIY project. I will show you how to make a face wash and scrub that's good for your skin and easy to make. You probably have all the ingredients in your home already. A couple months ago I did a review on a company that made natural skin products. I received their honey lemon face wash and honey lemon face scrub along with some other products. I really loved the face products and decided to see if I could recreate them at home. All you will need is 3 simple ingredients; honey, lemon and sugar.

   Now you might be wondering why honey and lemons are being used for making face wash/scrub? I'll tell you why. Honey is a natural antibacterial making it great for those who suffer with acne. Honey helps treat and prevent breakouts. Honey is also full of wonderful antioxidants that can help slow down aging. It can also give you a nice complexion boost by moisturizing and soothing the skin, creating a natural glow. Honey is also clarifying which helps open and unclog pores. Now to get the best benefits with honey you have to use a truly raw organic honey. This will ensure that all the helpful nutrients and enzymes are intact.
   Now I'm sure you have heard that lemon may not be good for the skin but too much of anything could be bad for you. That's why I only used a little bit of lemon juice in this recipe. You can leave it out if you like. Lemon juice however can help lighten dark spots and blemishes such as acne scars. The citric acid in the lemon can gradually fade spots as well as evens skin tone. Vitamin C which is found in lemons is a great antioxidant for nuetralizing free radicals and boosting collagen production. So now I will show you how to make the honey lemon face wash and scrub.

   To make your face wash and scrub you will need:

*Raw Honey
*Lemon Juice ( you can leave out if you like)
*Sugar
*2 containers with lid (plastic or glass)

   I repurposed the cute glass containers that held the tea I did a review on previously. So first I spooned about 4 oz of the raw honey into the first container. I then added 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and made sure to blend it well. And that's it for your lemon honey face wash. You can add a little more or less lemon juice to get the consistency you like.

  Next take your second container and put about 1/4 cup of sugar in it. Then you will take 1 1/2-2 tablespoons of the honey lemon face wash from the first container and add it to the container with sugar. Next you will need to stir it well making sure to blend it completely. If it feels to dry you can add more of the honey lemon mixture to it. And that's it! You have your honey lemon face wash, which I use in the morning and your honey lemon scrub which I use at night.

For best results
* wet your face with warm water, add your wash or scrub evenly to your face
*let it sit for about 30 seconds
*wash off completely

   I really Love this face wash and scrub it really brightens my face as well as keep my acne at bay. I encourage you to give it a try and as I said you can leave out the lemon if it bothers your skin. Hope you enjoyed my first DIY project this will be the first of many.
